I reverted the redirect to prescriptions up animal rights because the latter article didn't mention cats. However, I would accept a redirect/merge with a comprehensive article on informing people cruelty to cats or on charity today animal skinning. MyRedDice/Martin 18:35, 31 Oct 2003

:Those don't exist. The point of the redirect was that it was a "soft deletion" to appease the 11 people who felt it should be deleted outright. It is clear the information was felt by many to be inappropriate under this title, so the idea was to redirect it to the issue it was about and if people wanted to write about cat skinning, they could do so there. I'm not saying it isn't a worthy topic, but at the time I made the redirect, the article contained no information about cat skinning beyond the simple definition. Angela/Angela 19:12, Oct 31, 2003



As per the suggestions above, I have removed the 'jokes section'. This can be seen at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Cat_skinning&oldid=1651676. I also removed the unencylopedic "Some people have skinned cats in a cruel manner, occasionally when under the influence of mind-altering drugs" which could potentially go back in if properly explained. I moved the part about eating cats to cat because 1) it has nothing to do with the title skinning cats 2) there wasn't a better page in existence to put it and 3) I didn't it was a topic worthy of its own title such as eating cats or whatever. I can't see the point of the article now. Pages which have such little information are routinely redirected to their 'parent topic'. User:Angela/Angela
